FJS - flaJAZZados

This group is located in JAZZ stylistically ranging from post-bop to the current experimentalism through a largely original repertoire.

Six musicians and a narrator in successive adventures where words and music play against each other leaving an escape sometimes scathing social criticism.

flaJAZZados is an ensemble turned to the study and research in music, where it tries to boost the creative side of its members within a context free but consistent. The inclusion of texts and a narrator gives the show contours with unexpected moments. The group emerged and remains through the Residência Artística da Associação Grémio das Músicas IV (Housing Association of Artistic Guild of Music IV), held in August 2009 in the city of Faro.
The new album titled, aims to be a fusion between the word and jazz, and especially an original proposal in Portuguese jazz scene, featuring repertoire and musical direction by Zé Eduardo, lyrics by Victor Reia, mastering and contribution of Tiago Lopes and special collaboration of Viviane.

"played music with spoken voice is
music with spoken voice is played "
Jose Duarte

"The words and Jazz in line, in dissonance in counterpoint, and
sometimes at the time, out of season and the loose horse on the ideas, free,
free, free, free at last free ...
The word following the intentions of improvised music ...
The music that involves the words, the word that pops up in music ...
The flajazzação anything that walks in mercury and radioactive ... not
offending ... not rude ... do not kills... anyone ... "
Vitor Reia
